Joseph DeLucia, Chief Scientist, CTO and Founder
Mr. DeLucia's notable experience within the technology space, particularly within the field of business intelligence, is reflected in the seamless integration of DataRoket backend systems and flawlessly executed front-end architecture, developed over a three-year span. Prior to founding DataRoket, Mr. DeLucia served in principal roles in both database and business intelligence technologies with Business Objects of Americas and Sybase Professional Service. During his tenure at Business Objects, Mr. DeLucia was responsible for designing and developing core J2EE modules for Web Services, Soap Integration, and several marketed SOA portal solutions. Prior to his computer science experience, Mr. DeLucia was employed as an engineer with AT&T Research and Development. Mr. DeLucia pursued Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science while attending Monmouth, Rutgers, and New York Universities.
Hal Polley, Chief Financial Officer & EVP Corporate Development
Mr. Polley has spent 15 years in finance and investing, with some of the foremost institutions in their fields. He has completed transactions totaling over $900 million, with early stage and mature businesses. Mr. Polley Mr. Polley began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (later acquired by Credit Suisse) on Wall Street, where he participated in numerous transactions including public offerings of debt and equity, M&A advisory deals, and principal transactions with DLJ Merchant Banking. From there, Mr. Polley went on to work at the Carlyle Group in Washington, DC, where he completed numerous principal investments including buyouts and minority investments in fields such as defense, systems integration, eCommerce, media and healthcare. After business school, Mr. Polley was a Principal at Bessemer Partners & Co. (now Lindsay Goldberg Bessemer), where he successfully completed several buyouts, as well as general portfolio company management including add-on acquisitions, key hiring decisions, financing structures, and exits. Mr. Polley is currently a Managing Director at Stepping Stone Capital, where he has participated in several minority investments in growth-stage businesses in industries such as IT Security, healthcare, and systems integration. Mr.Polley has an MBA from Stanford University, and a BA magna cum laude from Georgetown University.
David Koeneman, Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Mr. Koeneman has over 15 years experience leading sales teams and selling leading-edge technologies, delivering on strategic vision, driving change and tangible returns for constant customer growth and success. He has experience in both the enterprise and SaaS sales and has been successful in selling next generation solutions in the full spectrum of mission-critical applications including proactive Information Risk Management, Information Governance, eDiscovery, Consolidated Archiving, Customer Interactions, Speech and Video Analytics, Security and Policy Management, Talent Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Knowledge Management (KM), and Business Process Management (BPM). Mr. Koeneman holds a BS from the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University.
